Welcome to Chong Pang
Chong Pang is the little estate truncated by Ring Road, Sembawang Road, and Yishun Avenues 3 and 5. For an overview of the shops, visit here.
My blog features the small retail businesses here. They are some of the shops that have served me well - reliable and affordable!
Having lived near here 16 years, Chong Pang is my heartland. Although the market is nearby, it is one that I rarely squeeze my way through as I love shopping at different places.
There are 2 neighbourhood favourites - CK and Giant, and numerous smaller provision shops to cater to my marketing needs as well.
Need a haircut? Plenty to choose from, almost one or two at the turn of every corner of Blocks 101-104.
You will also find delightful exquisite shops nearby such as Grace Vijaya Fashion House which sells sarees and punjabi clothes called kothar.
Families may have moved to nearby Sembawang and as far as Woodlands but the diehards will always flock back to the oasis at Chong Pang for their favourite offerings.
I love my home and her hinterland Chong Pang. Once you have lived here, you will move out only in a moment of impulse and live to regret it. A few residents here have actually been prodigals who prefer coming home to Chong Pang.
